New Team Rector and Associate Minister
The Reverends Alan and Jane Hulme have been appointed as Team Rector and Associate Minister respectively. They will be licensed on Monday 22nd September.
Alan & Jane have served in South Harrow for 12 years having been at a church in Suburban Nottingham for 5 years before that. They have two sons. Ben is 20 and studying English and German at Birmingham University and Sam, 16, who will be starting sixth form when they arrive in Ely. The family is completed by a Golden Retriever named "Shadow".
Prior to ordination training they lived in the village of Grimston, which is near King's Lynn.
Alan's previous career was as a Chemical Engineer, working for BP in South Wales and Dow Chemical in King's Lynn. Jane was a Medical Biochemist having worked in research for Amersham International and Dow Chemical.
Alan & Jane are both ordained ministers. Alan will be the Team Rector and Jane will be licensed as Associate Minister within the Ely Team. They are looking forward to joining the church community in Ely and serving its people as we reach out with God's love in the area.
